Terms of use

1. Who we are

CAOS is an open-source project maintained by EPRS Tecnologia da Informação Ltda (trade name Dukits), CNPJ 61.250.160/0001-83, based in Florianópolis, Brazil. In this text, “CAOS”, “we” and “our” refer to that maintainer. The site is caos.ltd.

2. Who can use it

• People aged 18 or older. CAOS is aimed at professionals in agencies and marketing teams.
• You confirm that the information you provide is true and that the e-mail address you register is yours.

3. What we offer

CAOS is at an early stage. What the site describes shows the direction of the project and does not guarantee features, dates or results.

• An informational site about CAOS.
• The early-access list, with e-mail confirmation.
• The conversation with Ataya, a virtual assistant with a fixed script and no generative AI.
• A free e-book for those who finish the conversation with Ataya.
• A WhatsApp group for anyone who wants to join.

4. Early access and gifts

• Joining the list does not guarantee access to the product, or any date or specific feature.
• We may change, postpone, limit or end early access and the gifts (such as the Starter Pack, the Founding Wall and the 1:1 setup sessions), which are limited and subject to availability.
• Gifts are free, personal, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred.
• The e-book is delivered to those who finish the conversation with Ataya. Answering is optional, but the e-book depends on finishing.

5. Your sign-up

There is no account and no password. The links we e-mail you are personal: do not share them. You can leave the list at any time, in one click, using the unsubscribe link in any of our e-mails.

6. Acceptable use of the site

• Do not try to access other people’s data, attack, overload or test the security of the site without permission. To report a vulnerability, use the security contact in /.well-known/security.txt.
• Do not use bots or scripts to sign up, and do not register someone else’s e-mail.
• Do not write illegal or offensive content, or third-party personal data, in the text fields.

7. WhatsApp group: house rules

Keep in mind that on WhatsApp your profile name and phone number may be visible to other members, and that anything you write in the group can be read by everyone. WhatsApp’s (Meta) terms and policy also apply to using the group. We do not collect your phone number through the site.

• Respect above all. Disagreeing is welcome, disrespect is not.
• No spam and no self-promotion. If you want to share something, agree with the team first.
• Do not share client data, confidential information or third-party personal data.
• No illegal, discriminatory, offensive or sexual content.
• Feedback and questions are the point of the group: give context and, if you can, examples.
• Do not share group conversations or other members’ contacts without permission.
• The CAOS team moderates the group and may remove anyone who breaks these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.
• You can leave whenever you want.

8. Intellectual property

• Site and e-book content: © 2026 CAOS. The e-book may be shared with attribution to CAOS and without changes.
• Trademark: the CAOS name and logo belong to EPRS Tecnologia da Informação Ltda. The trademark is not yet registered with the Brazilian INPI, which does not remove the rights the law provides. Use of the trademark by others requires written permission, except to cite the project accurately.
• Code: the CAOS code is published under the Apache-2.0 license, under the terms of the license that comes with each repository. These Terms do not change that license, which grants no rights over the CAOS name, logo or trademarks.

9. Ataya and your answers

Ataya is a virtual assistant, not a person. It asks questions from a fixed script and decides nothing on its own. Your answers are handled according to the Privacy policy and help us guide the product and early access.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

• The site, the e-book, Ataya and the group are provided “as is”, without any guarantee of continuous availability, absence of errors or results.
• The e-book offers general guidance. It is not legal, financial or business advice, and decisions made from it are your responsibility.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from using the site, the e-book or the group.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

11. Third-party services and links

We use third-party services, such as Cloudflare (hosting, database, e-mail and anti-bot), WhatsApp and LinkedIn. Each has its own terms and policies, over which we have no control.

12. Changes and ending

We may update these Terms. The new version is posted on this page with its date, and we will e-mail you when a change is significant. Continuing to use the site afterwards means you agree to the new version.

We may suspend access for anyone who violates these Terms. You may stop using CAOS at any time.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, are chosen to settle any dispute, without prejudice to the right of a consumer to sue in the venue the law provides.

14. Language and contact

These Terms exist in Portuguese and English. If they differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
